Disgusting customer service and atrocious quality.

I've been having a horrible experience with these people! A few months ago, a piece of metal fell off my glasses (I had dropped them once prier to this, and the only damage was light scratches on the lenses), this tiny piece of metal was almost like a cap at the end of the arms, by the hinges. Without this metal piece that arm now sits skew on my face, I "fix" it by using hotglue to create a bump on the hidge just so I can see properly, and when I went with my mother to the Torga in the Kolonnade to see if they could fix it, they told me it was my fault and they couldn't fix it (going against the guarantee) and tried to sell me new glasses frames for another R10 000, this excuse did not make any sense because that metal piece would have had to have been p**** off if I wanted to break it, and I'm farely certain I'm not a psycho who breaks glasses for fun. The worker told me I must've sat on the glasses, which also doesn't make sense because if I had sat on them why is nothing else broken? She told me I must've dropped it, but like I said when I did drop them only minimal scratches were left on the lenses.

This unbelieveable, and I'm only writing this now because these glasses are seriously getting on my nerves! I don't understand how my poor parents had to pay R10 000 for the frames alone just for this low quality plastic to keep catching my hair in the hinge! I tried to just deal with it and be grateful that I could read again without a headache but I genuinely think that cheap glasses at a garage or dischem will be much much better than the disgrace of glasses I got at Torga.

Never going there again, it's extremely unprofessional to blame the customer for the poor quality of your own business!!! I literally just want to see properly, why does it have to be so difficult AND expensive just to be ****med?!?!?!
