<p>Torga Optical in Cresta, ordered me glasses in October 2015, I paid R500 towards my glasses and left my frames with them. All they had to do was put lenses in. The balance of R500 was to be paid when I collect my glasses, unfortunately i was not able to get to their branch due to work, family commitments and health issues simultaneously.</p> <p>When contacted by a lady at the branch requesting me to collect them, i advised her that i was not in the position to come through, she should please keep my glasses as I will be in to collect them.</p> <p>I then started getting messages from an attorney stating that my account has been handed over for collection.</p> <p>I finally went through on the evening of the 7 May 2016 to pay the balance and pick up my glasses. I was the told that I need to settle my account with the attorneys before collecting from them.</p> <p> </p> <p>Help me understand: I paid half down for my glasses, Torga optical has MY money, MY frames and yet I get handed over to attorneys.</p> <p>I refuse to pay any additional that what was initially quoted to be, i did not sign documents stating that i would be handed over should moneys not be paid by a specific day, I was never told by either the Optican nor the lady handling my account of this information.</p> <p> </p> <p>If anything I should hand them over as they have my money and my frames.</p>
