CAVEAT EMPTOR - AVOID TORGA OPTICAL - PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN PERIL

I purchased multi focal glasses via the Amanzimtoti branch. After a few months, the frame broke, it was replaced as it was still under warranty. Then, at 11 months, I realized the uv coating was cracking badly and I could hardly see. This time, the coating was redone. Then, a few months on, the coating started to deteriorate again, and as it wasn't under warranty anymore, I've been wearing these glasses ever since with the coating degrading day by day. I went to the Galeria branch a week ago, only to be informed that the coating could be removed, but when I asked whether this would be done at no cost to me, the lady there said she wasn't sure and janded me a card with the head office phone number? The final straw, came yesterday, when my frame broke for a second time... I'm now wearing cheap over the counter glasses just so that I can read... Terrible company to purchase from, Please read all the other complaints that were also posted with similar problems with lenses etc, etc. being scratched etc. The worst is that they still send messages in the hope that I will support them again, not a chance!!!
