SHODDY SERVICE FROM TOP CARPETS !!!!

<p>Our insurance brokers, Discover, sent Top Carpets to do our claim. we asked them to quote as well on flattening a hump in my daughters room. we paid on quote and they came to do the job. when they left after screeding, my day asked them why are they leaving the carpet outside as it rains almost everyday. The white gentleman insisted that we wont need the old carpet as they will be putting a new carpet. it rained very hard that night. when we came home from work, we noticed the hump was still slightly there. my husband went in to speak to them the next day. the afrikaans man behind the counter was very rude to us as if he looked down upon us indians. he say apparently they dont screed over 5 cm. now surely when they came to quote, they invetigated the hump and should have told us upfront about how high they can go. why wait until we paid in full, rip and destroy our carpet by insisting on leaving it outside, screed 3 quarter way and then say you cant totally flatten this as the hump is too high. They refuse to replace our carpet, they collected it and said they dried in. Once a carpet is soaked through, it is DESTROYED. They refused to take responsibility. I will also lay a complaint with our insurance brokers, as we dont expect this type of service delivery or lack thereof. Discovery must send other people to do our claims now and in the future. Top carpets really dont live up to their name.</p>
