Poor Food Quality and Bad Attitudes

Good day all. I know I'm probably gonna get a lot of slack for this post but before you give me grieve NOTE I have spoken to the Owner (a Lady) and I am NOT impressed by her reaction. Probably because we look like poor people that only want money which was NOT the case in this situation. Last week Friday (22nd of December 2023) we bought 5 x 250g strawberries, 2 x packets of chips and 2 x lamb shanks at Tony's Meat Market. This morning (30th of December 2023) when I wanted to use the last pack of strawberries it had mould on. I phoned Tony's Meat Market and spoke to Sandra one of the Managers there. I told her I didn't have my slip as I through it away and she told me I must come so we can see what can be done. My husband and I went there and spoke to Sandra which in return went to the Owner (a Lady) and we explained what had happen and the Owner said that strawberries shouldn't be on on the rack for more than a day. I was busy explaining to the Owner but I make my product from their strawberries when she turned her back in me and told Sandra "ag you know what Sandra just give their money back" then she walked away. We told Sandra we didn't want the money back just to swap it around and BUY another pack of strawberries, which we did. When we got home we started making our product ending up using only one packet of strawberries. When I wanted to take some strawberries to eat out the remaining packet I noticed that there was mouldy strawberries in this packet also. I send Sandra a whatsapp with two photos showing the mouldy strawberries also leaving a voice note where I said her boss was quick to catch a ***** fit this morning when we brought back the other strawberries. Of course my husband and I went back to Tony's Meat Market where I found Sandra and one of the other Managers "skinnering" about the lady that complaint about the strawberries which was me. I told them straight a "I caught you skinnering about me," making a joke when I saw on Sandra's phone the photos open which I sent to her. Sandra quickly ran to the back of the butchery clearly not wanting to deal with me. The other Manager took my slip to another Manager and we were refunded. I am seriously NOT impressed by them. Also when we buy out meat hampers there which is NEVER les than R1000 we get more bones in the lamb stew than meat as well as in the collage. The mince has a lot of sinue and pieces of bone as well as the sausges but when you complain you get told it's the blades. Unfortunately we do not have any other proper butcheries that's just up the rode from us. I have never felt so low as today and that because of a Owner of a Company which we support all the time!!!
