Tommy Martin Eagle Canyon Customer Debacle

I purchased a Toyota Fortuner 2017, 2.4 GD6 2x4 from dealer Isuzu Tommy Martin. I took ownership of the vehicle on the 29th of June. I have had nothing but an unpleasant experience since taking ownership of the vehicle and I started reporting it immediately, from the 11th July 2018 to be exact. My car has been taken in for repairs a couple of times since then with no satisfactory results.

It has been over 6 months now which the dealer has not been able to resolve or fix the car to my satisfaction and I have lost trust in them and whoever has been trying to repair the car. I dropped the car off on the 13th March 2019 at the dealership and handed them both keys of the vehicle.

I in turn contacted my financing bank to assist me in resolving the issue, with that being said while I waited for the bank to come up with a feasible solution for me. I received an email from the bank advising me of Earle Austin's ( Dealer Principal) response where he literally insinuates that the concern I am referring to is a new and intermittent vibration and squeak. I mean this has been going on for over 6 months. Time and time again when the car comes back from repairs the problems resurface a week or so after they give it back to me.

It is a known fact between myself, Rudi ( who has since left Isuzu), Garth and Earle that this car has been nothing but a problem since 13 July when I started experiencing problems with it. My last conversation with Garth on 4th February 2019 when I fetched the car from them after it had gone for repairs once again, it was made clear what needs to happen or be done should the car continue to give me problems which it did on the 19th February 2019.

I am at break point here cause I feel like I am being taken for a ride and my rights as a customer are being violated. The dealership made contact yesterday after two weeks to inform me that my car is back and they are confident that this time around it is fixed and it will not give me any further problems, I strongly doubt this statement because this is what they have been saying to me and it has been proven beyond reasonable doubt that this is not the case.

I am resorting to this platform cause I feel like the walls are closing in on me and I am standing alone in this fight.
