Disgraceful picnic

Booked what was meant to be a romantic picnic on the 15th for valentine's day. We've been to toadbury before and expected to be placed at the river, I even asked for a specific spot via email. I guess I should have realised that something was wrong when the lady I dealt with didn't know what I was asking for.... I requested vegetarian picnic baskets, and was assured it was not a problem... The website was misleading, and did not specify that daytime picnics are now done at the hotel, about 50m from the main road. Really disappointing. The food was a disgrace. I doubt that the chef even knows what vegetarian food is. We got 2 bowls of potato salad, disgusting stale bread, pita half filled with coleslaw only. And a few other tasteless items. The cheese platter was disgusting the cheddar was oily and had clearly been cut and left out the fridge. The service was also really lacking. I got a mail to request feedback and that's just been ignored as well. It was such a waste of time and money. We will never go back there
