Can not understand why the UK, for UK visas and also European countries, for a Schengen Visa, uses this company: TLSContact in Cape Town. When handing in my Visa, I was dealt with as a piece of cargo, directed from point A, to B. and C. No friendliness. Nada. And oh dear, their "Value added services", - services that should, in my opinion, be included in the fee for the visa, is going to cost you! After 6 weeks waiting for a UK visa, I have had no response and have nobody to talk to. There "Track" my application, has been stuck at where it was after having handed in my passport, 6 weeks ago. Is that function even working? If you willing to spend more money, you could try to phone the Embassy in Pretoria, where an answering service, 1st asks your credit card details. Then, tells you there is a 5 day turn around time for a response. Costs a couple of pounds! All the anticipation for my trip to the UK is gone! A week before departure, I must decide which is going to cost me the least: cancel or postpone my flight. Never again!
