I app**** for a UK visa 5 weeks ago and have still not received a notice to collect said visa and my passport. I tried phoning to find tbe xell number belongs to a private individual who has been inundated with calls from irrate applicants. Next step was to TRACK progress online which did not produce a satisfactory result. Sure, I could se the stages already completed but still seems a way to go before finalizing. So, step 3 today I took a drive to TLScontact in Green Point and queued with a dozen other anxious clients with same issue. Got to the countet fairly quickly but all the clerk was able to offer is "my request has been escalated." not much else was offered in terms of calming my anxiety at the delay in finalizing my application, other tban tbe British Embassy will communicate with me, when I and they (TLS) don't know. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
