TLS contact/ UK Visa application

I have app****b for a UK visa in November 2021 for travel in December 2021. The visa application process says that you should be getting your visa in 15 days. I have not gotten my visa as yet, lost out on my planned holiday and also the expenses that I have gone through. I have emailed the UK visa center at a cost of about R60 to find out the progress of the application only to be told that s definite answer cannot be given and due to the travel ban I will just have to wait! There is no correspondence whatsoever from anyone to say what is going on and you are unable to go to their office to inquire. I had done my application at the Durban office. If you had to call the UK helpline there is a charge in UK currency just to speak to someone. The service is disappointing, especially with a cost of over R2000 for the application. I am now without my passport, no clarity about my visa and out of pocket with all the costs. Extremely unhappy traveler!
