Timberland Glasses Frame peeled within 2 to 7 days of using it

Hi. Bought a pair of Timberland glasses frame with the codes printed on the inner arms: Tb1583 052 52∆19 145 32 -0 Timberland cc earthkeepers Bio based plastic.

By the 2 day of using the specs....the brown layer peeled of the bottom . Within a week, the glasses started peeling thru out the frames.

It looks most untidy, as it shows a yellow plastic base under.

I work in an office environment and it's so embarrassing to use. My challenge is obviously I cannot just replace this as it was almost 3k at the Optometrist where I purchased it from
