POOR QUALITY AT ITS BEST!!!

In April 2018 I purchased a pair of long black leather boots from your Cavendish branch , Cape Town.

Upon purchasing this boot of R3000 I thought this would be an investment for the next 3 winters with regards to quality and durability but to my surprise this is has not been the case , as winter officially arrived in June I decided to wear the ‘GOOD QUALITY’ boot and I was appalled at the image I saw after only wearing it for less than a month, it has become soft an brittle, at this time I decided to return the boot for an exchange or refund and was advised it needs to be sent for assessment which I do understand, I was in contact with a gentlemen by the name of Bashir Essy. Feedback received was that the boot is not defective and the “Fading and Brittle” appearance has been removed.

Well guess what!!!! It has happened again, in actual fact the boot looks the exact same in actual fact it looks like it was bought at a Chinese Shop for R200!!!!!!!!

Please explain to me how it is possible for a R3000 TIMBERLAND boot to look this cheap, I am quite appalled at the treatment received from store level and ‘Customer Service’.

I have bought your products for years for myself and my boys and have never experienced this – so I am well aware of what ‘QUALITY’ should look like.

You have the audacity to boast about how you design and manufacture your products ‘RESPONSIBLY’ and ‘ACCOUNTABLE’ for what goes into your products- now with this statement I would like the Mr. Andre Hawaux - Board of Directors to explain to me how Timberland will be taking Accountability for a product that has failed the client miserably.
