BAd Shoe quality and Bad customer service

This is a pair I bought at sportscene lakeside mall. After being worn 3 times the sol started coming off. I took them to the eastgate store after I was advised by their facebook consultant for an evaluation. I took them to the branch of which I was told they will email me as they needed to investigate as to what happened. After a while, thats after i followed up more than 3 times, I received a call to come collect the shoes at the Eastgate store with two hundred and something rands for repair.‬ ‪I’m like excuse me pay that amount for what as this is a R3000 shoe that was not even supposed to be damaged after being worn 3 times as it classified as “quality”. Eventually I collected the shoe which the store manager decided to write off the two hundred odd for repairs. I wore the shoe the following friday after being collect after the "repairs" and guess what the Sol is coming out again.

I emailed their operations team and obviously wrote a review on hello peter. I got a response from a Donovan Daniels saying I Should get the proof of purchase and got to the nearest branch to get a shoe of the same value, at that point nothing was explained about the guarantee period. I went to the Eastgate branch with the proof of purchase, of which I was told they are still going to email the proof of purchase to Donovan, which I found it highly upsetting as if that was the case I would have emailed before going to the branch. My issue is the lack of professionalism and race issue because if it was a white person I believe they wouldn't be given the same run around I am getting, bearing in mind that i've wasted so much petrol of the trips to the branch when everything should have been explained upfront. I dropped off the proof of purchase on the 26 October 2019, of which I was told they will contact me on Wednesday, which again iahd to follow up the following monday of the 04.11.2019. I spoke to Donovan Daniels again who told me that seen that I bought the shoe back in 2016 at the Sportscene shop they are not going to replace the shoe as it was not bought from their "timberland" branch but from another shop. So my question was one how does it happen that do business with other shops yet they won't take responsibility of their brand, because its obvious had i went to the Sportscene shop they were not going to take responsibility as thats no their brand but their customer aswell. He then told me that they will repair the shoe AGAIN, now my followup question was how many times am I to bring the shor for repairs? AGAIn bearing in mind the trips I keep making to the branch which includes my time and petrol.

He condluded the call by saying he had discussed this with his director that they will not replace the shoe, they will only repair it. I argued the conlusion and told Donovan that I have family and friends who own Timberland branded shoes that they've had for many years, I bought mine and only wore it 3-4 times and the sol keeps coming out. He tehn said it doesn't matter what I say, they are not going to replace the shoe. I further asked him to ask their director to give me a call, it has been a week and a half since i've waited for a call from the director, nor his details ‬ I Reiterate that had it been a white person this would have beeen long resolved, so now that I am black and happen to be a young lady I am not taken seriously.

‪Look into this matter ASAP as I am highly irate with the service and response im getting from you guys. May I have an urgent response as this has been going on for long now since I dropped off the shoes on the 26.04.2019.‬ let alone ur poor response and lack of communication. Brand defect. Brand *****. Even a Mr Price shoes lasts a person longer than what I experienced with you! I demand a refund now seen that I’m being given a run around.
