Bad Service from the sales manager!

Walked into Tile Africa Greenstone yesterday to buy tiles. Service was extremely slow and after 20 - 25 mins my husband got a little irritated and spoke to the sales floor manager, Steven Kruger as he and a number of salesmen were just hanging around, not one attempt to provide any assistance and there were probably 2-3 customers at that time in the store. The sales floor manager put on a big smile with the most condescending, arrogant attitude. I could not believe that this type of person deals with customers on a daily basis. I told him that we had just been to the Boksburg store, which by the way provided outstanding service, and they did not have stock of a tile that we had seen previously. I also had a quote of that specific tile. When I asked the sales floor manager if he maybe had stock, he said no, never heard of that name in a very arrogant tone. Tile africa has never kept that particular tile. So where did the Boksburg branch get this tile from to give me a quote? This man made it seem like I had no idea what I was talking about yet when we went to the Boksburg branch on Sun, they knew exactly what to we wanted just had no stock. I will never go back to the Greenstone branch, clearly they do not need our business and I will not support people who treat their customers in this manner. Who would?

Good morning Avani,

What a terrible experience. Please accept our humblest apologies for the lack of service you received from our Greenstone branch. We provide ourselves in excellent customer service and supurb knowledge of our products and industry. This is very unusual for our staff. We take this complaint very seriously.

I have sent your complaint to our branch manager and national operations manager. They will be in contact shortly.

You are welcome to contact me should you require any assistance or information.

Best regards,

Karin Higley
