Ticket Pro (Pty) Ltd - Burna Boy Concert Ticket Fiasco, Very Disheartening

It pains me to express my deep disappointment in the unfortunate turn of events surrounding my purchase of tickets for the Burna Boy concert. Initially, I bought the tickets for a show scheduled on September 23rd. Unfortunately, the show was canceled, and a new date, December 16th, was communicated.

Anticipating the rescheduled event I was concerned by the absence of advertising for the event and as such I visited their offices and I was dismayed to discover on December 15th, that the show had been canceled and directed to email them. According to them, this information had been communicated, but I never received any notification of the cancellation. This revelation was soulcrushing, as I had eagerly looked forward to attending the concert.

Despite having previously emailed them with no response, I comp**** and sent another email. However, my recent attempt to contact them through their platform proved futile as now my emails are not going through, and again, there has been no response to my inquiries.

To add to my frustration, I had taken the precaution of verifying the legitimacy of the company by visiting the SPAR in Sunninghill before making my ticket purchase. Now, I can't help but feel deceived and question how many others might have faced a similar situation. I purchased two tickets, each valued at R700, and I can't help but wonder how much profit this company made without being held accountable.

The lack of communication and apparent disregard for customers is deeply distressing. I am left wondering how many people, like myself, invested in tickets without receiving reimbur*****t or any satisfactory resolution. It is disheartening that a company can seemingly get away with such practices, leaving customers like me hurt and disillusioned.
