Silly Cooldrink Policy

I have been to a few shows/concerts at the Ticketpro Dome in the last year and when patrons buy softdrinks, the venue has the odd and inconvenient policy of taking away the bottle lids and none of the staff are able to explain why this silly policy is in place.

I have not encountered any other venue recently, where this odd and inconvenient policy is in place. I also cannot imagine that the small plastic bottle tops would be regarded as dangerous.

Therefore would TicketPro Dome please advise:

1) the reason for this odd and inconvenient policy
2) consider revising the silly policy for the following reasons:

2-1) Ease of carrying multiple bottles back to friends/family without spilling open softdrinks all over the entire row of other patrons, and making other patrons upset and angry in the process while going back to one's seats!

2-2) Empathy for parents with young children. How are parents of young children and toddlers supposed to hold children in arms + handbags + wallets + snacks for the kiddies + 2 or more open bottles of cooldrinks without spilling and dropping everything!?

2-3) Cleanliness and hygiene. There will be less spillage of sticky cooldrinks on patrons, other people, seats and floors if the people can just close the lid of their cooldrink! There will as a result be less messy sticky clean-up for the staff at the Dome.

2-4) Happier patrons and environment. Every time I go to the Dome, I see countless people getting upset and angry by having cooldrinks spilled over over them by hapless patrons carrying multiple bottles of open cooldrinks back to their seats, but not being able to close them!
