No Ownership of Damage to My Car

A tip for future customers of the Tyger Valley Bramch: After taking my car for a wash on the 14h of April 2024, I came home to notice my fuel door was hanging by its last thread. After barely a touch, it fell off of my car. I immediately proceeded to go back to the branch to show the manager, and assistant manager, the problem.

They said they shall investigate and get back to me. Needless to say, after many back and forths and tirelessly chasing after the pair, they claim no part in my car getting damaged. My cars repairs are sitting at just under R5 000. I have had to wait for the managers to get the regional manager/ owners to contact me but of course, this promise is yet to be realized (this story has been going on for 3.5 weeks now).

Let my situation above be a warning to those who use, or are planning to use, the Tygervalley Thunder Brothers carwash. I hope you don't experience such an experience as what I have had to put up with.

Please check your car before taking it to this carwash so that if this ever had to happen to you, you know exactly what your car looked like before handing it over to them to wash.
