Thorp Plumstead: Worse Customer Experience Ever

Horrific customer service ever!! I visited Thorp Plumstead and was very interested in a vehicle. Sales showed us the car but said we must come back the next day for a test drive. I shouldn’t worry they will have the car ready to test drive, they sent me my trade in value of my vehicle. I decided to sell my car due to a better deal the same day (have proof of receipts) because I had a verbal agreement. I asked if they did a VIN check and he said they do an idrive check, I asked for the VIN number so that I can do my own check for accident damage etc he promised he would send it. I messaged the Sales person the next morning to let him know I’m heading there soon and to remind him to send me the VIN number and then he rep**** ‘Sorry, my manager sold the car late yesterday. I was livid because that is not how you do business, I never had this with any other dealer. I messaged him back on how ********* this is, not informing me they have another interested customer after we had a verbal agreement. I have back and forth messages with him. I called Thorp Plumstead to have a word with the manager (Charles) and every time I speak the called dropped and when I messaged him he said they had phone issues it’s reconnecting. As a big dealership like this, who treat potential customers like this….they make a promise then don’t adhere to it!!! No wonder they have so much bad reviews, The manager (Charles) must be trained on what customer promise means, loyalty and better client service all round.
