Thorp Paarl/ GM Belville- shocking!!!

<p>I am totally shocked by Thorp, my husband and his family has been buying cars from Thorp in Paarl for years, they even got me to invest in them when I married into this family.</p> <p>The sad truth is that they have really gone downhill, their service is terrible!!! We will completely stopp supporting them from this poimt onwards. My husband bought a car from them 2 years ago, they offered him an extended service plan at an additional cost of course. At the time it seemed wise to buy the extended service plan, weve done two services on the car since we've owned it, when we took the car in for a service feeling quite happy that we purchased the extended service plan so we dont have to take money out of our pockets they told us that it had expired!!!! There goes some of our renewal of vows savings.</p> <p>They did not warn us that this extended service plan would expire when we agreed to pay an additional amount for it, they casually told us that we missed it last year September, our car was not at its services milage as yet in September and no one even notified us at the time that this would be the case. They just carelessly told my husband their hands are tied and he'll simply have to fork out 2000 grand to pay for the service.</p> <p>We really had no choice but to pay the service, when we phoned them (GM in Belville) to ask if we could collect the car on Saturday they said that it would be no problem, when we drove to the GM in Belville early Saturday morning they were closed, I had to get a lift to work as my car was locked up in their garage. When my husband picked up the car yesterday they again we're neverminded about the fact that we were stuck without our car on the weekend. Their standards are shocking!!!</p> <p>Its not just about forking out money for a service its how you treat your long standing customers and how you conveniently forget to mention that weir paying an additional amount for something that will expire without any notification.</p> <p>The way they didnt have a care in the world for their ***** up and this for a family that has been supporting them for over 15 years is absolutely disgusting!!!</p> <p>We are really disappointed in Thorp and we will never recommend their services to anyone.</p> <p>Thorp, you can forget this family's support.</p>
