Bad Service

I am a client of Thorp relating to my vehicle service and repairs and i required a service when I was quoted a major service by Thorp (Plumbstead) will amount to R2350. I proceeded to take my vehicle to Thorp (claremont) for convince and the same service amounted to R3800. No consistency!<br> <br> I indicated to Thorp my vehicle was miss firing and a whistling sound came from the engine-bay, the feedback I received was that the Tappet cover needed to be repaired for both incidence. Replacing the Tappet cover, I realized the miss firing was still prominent and i proceeded to check the spark plus (which is a common cause of miss firing) the spark plus was dirty and wasn't even assessed or replaced by Thorp (Claremont) which should be routine for a major service. <br> <br> When i contacted Thorp they said there was a communication breakdown and unfortunately they can't help that. I now need to replace my spark plus at my own expense when I took it to the service dealership to do what should be expected from them. I basically paid for a major service which included a oil top up, signing of my service book and a car wash.<br> <br> I would like to display my dissatisfaction of the service offered to by thorp
