TOOK MY DEPOSIT, NO WEBSITE, NO REFUND.

Web Effect has given me undeniably the worst service experience of my entire life. I have spent almost three months trying to get my website designed by them with no joy. I paid my deposit upfront, immediately, upon invoice. I initially dealt with a Bryce Foss, who missed every single deadline and extended deadline. He then went MIA and I was left liaising with the owner, Wesley Harding, who gave me his assurance that he would oversee the project personally to ensure it is finalised by X date. X date passed with no website or feedback, cue me nagging again for said feedback. At some point thereafter Kate Ogilvie was appointed to deal with me, she also had immense trouble figuring out how the email reply button worked, and simply failed to meet deadlines. Just as Bryce had done, she then vanished into thin air and stopped responding. To Wesley, I requested a refund of the monies I had paid and (after much ignoring of my emails) was told by Wesley that I have to wait two weeks for the refund to be released. No apology, no explanation, just a snotty email. I have wasted almost 3 months of my start-up business's time on them. This company is a complete joke, avoid at all costs!
