Terrible experience

Yesterday I popped in to get a set of acrylic colour tips done. I’m not sure of the ladies name but I was informed at the end that she is new or still learning (I’m not sure).

I stopped her while she was filing down the acrylic because the shaping was terrible (I asked for round, it was very pointed, it didn’t even look like almond shape), a good amount of nails were skew, and you could see she had put the wrong size tip on because my natural nail was showing on the sides for some nails. The colour was blotchy even after filing down the acrylic. The acrylic has bled over onto my skin on some of the nails.

I stopped her and said I’m not happy and wanted to rather soak off and ask what the procedure is if I’m not happy, she didn’t know so after asking her multiple times I asked if there was a manager or an owner in the store and she called one of the other ladies, and I explained the situation. She instructed that I can soak off and then I can come back tomorrow and another lady will do a new set for me tomorrow (I didn’t have enough time to wait for another set). She also said that I’d pay for this set but then the next set would be “free” as it is a correction. Which I was fine with. This lady also took a photo of the nails but the other lady had already started the soak off on my right hand so they only got a photo of my left hand.

The lady then proceeded with the soak off and at the end I told her there’s still acrylic on my nails and it’s melted onto my skin, she then kept trying to pull the acrylic off my skin?? I still left with my nails looking awful and like the soak off wasn’t fully completed. (see photo for reference).
