Unfortunately unltimately just another money hungry corporation

I decided to start studying to broaden my opportunities for work and gain insight into the complexities of the human psyche. I wanted to find more meaningful and productive ways to survive, live, thrive. I've always been interested in psychology therefore it was a natural choice to gravitate towards an accredited qualification that would be recognized oversees if needed in future. Upon doing a lot of research the only currently available university qualifications one can do part time and specifically online that aim towards becoming a psychologist are through Cornerstone (CT) and SACAP. The UNISA psychology degree has been phased out (even though google says things differently) and only the BA degree majoring in psychology is still available. I enrolled for the Bachelor of App**** Social Sciences in 2019 with SACAP, of which the actual content, camaraderie and mentorship I absolutely enjoyed. I am a 'mature' student so working full time and studying was a tremendous challenge but it was incredibly fulfilling. I really liked the style of the course but by the end of the year I needed to take a break because of the many challenges that had occurred in my life at that stage. Then along came COVID-19 and with it even more challenges. Upon trying to resume my studies during 2021, this is what I was faced with: 1.) The courses were not explained well as they place a lot of focus on marketing their degrees. This means that I feel duped into starting a full degree even though there were other options available which would ultimately equate to the same degree. The BAppSocSci is a 3 year degree followed by Honours that can also be done through SACAP, but their Masters is their own variation of a course. This means that one cannot become a psychologist at this institution, ultimately only a registered counsellor. What is not given ultimate privy to is that one could complete the same degree by either doing a one year certificate followed by a two year diploma, or a two year diploma followed by a one year certificate and this would ultimately equate to the same degree. Having enrolled in the full degree means that I have NOTHING to show for the full year I worked so hard for. 2. Upon trying to organise to enroll again, the email correspondence with student assistance and accounts is very tedious. As I work in retail I do not have the luxury of telecoms in order to speed up the resolution of issues. What makes the communication process most frustrating is that it honestly feels as though the individuals, who do respond, thumb suck the information instead of actually INVESTIGATING a query. It’s a constant back and forth of stating the same thing until eventually I come across someone who might be able to genuinely and timely assist. During the first year of my studies this was apparent but the staff were still courteous and wanted to help so I was not as bothered. This year it feels as though the staff simply stonewall. My BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that I downloaded the pricing structure for 2021 dated November 2020. This explained the prices for the second year of the course I am to pick up again. Then I downloaded the latest pricing structure dated February 2021, which remained the same price as stated in the previous structure. Upon trying to confirm with accounts that I had the correct details (for my first year the pricing structure was confusing therefore there were errors in what was invoiced to me), the prices they said I needed to foot were exponential to the pricing structure provided. Their excuse was the annual increase. I do not understand how there can be a second pricing structure that confirms the first, only for them to turn around and yet again thumb suck another amount? I had not paid my registration fee as this is a non-refundable deposit and I wanted to confirm that everything else was in order before I went ahead therefore, they cut my access to the site and this issue has STILL not been sorted even though classes have started 1st March. I feel very discouraged and frustrated as this course is so expensive. Having to pay this back to creditors without being able to even prove I studied, utilize the skills gained and progress to a better role in society feels such an immense waste.
