The president hotel Bantry bay

Worst experience ever. Whilst the reception staff, and some restaurant staff were amazing, we had the worst possible experience here. The room we were given looked like it hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival. We found blood on our pillows, sheets and mattress cover. Housekeeping clearly does a poor job. The curtains were ripped and it looked like a fight had broken out in the room. After bringing this to the attention of management, we were given another room where the phone didn't work- so we had to call reception from our cell phones just to order room service. The fridge looked like it was on it's last legs and once again housekeeping did a dismal job. We had to get them to top up our toiletries basic necessities as this wasn't done when they cleaned the room. Some of the restaurant staff - those topping up the buffet- were really rude. The front of house staff however were amazing and welcoming. They really made the experience a lot better.
