POOL TEAM in CRAIGHALL

I contacted the Pool Team in Craighall and said that I needed to replace the sand in my filter. They sent me a quote, which included installation/replacement of the sand and asked for an upfront payment of R 1,510.00 so that they could raise a job card. I paid immediately and they confirmed that their team would be there the next day, which they were. When the Team arrived they told me that I had a leak in the filter and that I needed to replace my filter so that they could change the sand, which they would do, but that they would credit me for the sand, and then send me another quote for a new filter which included the sand. I pointed out that the filter was not cracked, but only needed a new "joint" to the filter. They said that they did not do that. They were here for about 10 minutes and they left. I then requested a refund for the R1,500.00 only to be told that they would refund me LESS a call out fee of R 450.00. ABSOLUTE RIP-OFF. I was never informed that there would be a call out fee in the beginning. I have now found a reputable company who have repaired the "joint" and replaced the sand at a fraction of the price that Pool Team quoted me.

DON"T deal with them: They are a RIP-OFF!!!!!!
