Last year in Sept 2021, I bought these panels for my Pool to heat it up as I was advised by their Sales person at Pretoria branch in store what was needed for my 60 000 Litres Pool. He gave me the quotation of more then R11k over phone and I send my guys there to go pay and get it. When they got there they paid and I got a Plumbing company to install these Black Solar Panels and all the extra pipes and fittings which cost a extra R3k in materials and Labour R2800 to connect to the Pool pump. So now we waited and waited for the Water to warm up and the rain was bad over Summer so we gave them the benefit of doubt. No warm water and I called the plumbing company to check and they said maybe we mus add more panels. He suggested maybe they made a mistake but when I called to complain and some one in that branch said this sales guy made a lot of mistakes like this so when I spoke to their Customer Liason officer didn’t want to help me and said she won’t bad mouth this guy as the guy left last year. I said I want to speak to the CEO and no one else. Then Gideon Norton called me and said he will assist me as long as I send the receipt of my purchase. He also mentioned that this guy put these materials thru another company name so he doesn’t understand why he did that. He then told me I have to buy again same amount of materials to heat my pool. I told him if his staff told me that last year I would’ve not buy it cos to spend over R25k on panels for the Pool I could’ve gotten a Heat Pump with that money to heat my Pool. He told me he will look into the matter. I called CEO Gideon Norton a few times to find out what’s happening now as I want my money back as I am disgusted with the *********** staff member giving wrong advice and telephonic quotation price. People must be weary of them as the after services is just as bad as what happened to me as a loyal customer as we always used them for all of Pool needs.
