Don't expect any service or refund for faulty products

I bought a heating element with a housing for my jacuzzi. After installation I ran it for about half an hour when my power tripped, Checking the jacuzzi I noticed the element had melted the housing and the water was spraying out of the housing and caused a short on the electricity. The NEXT DAY I took the thing back whereby I was told it has to be sent to their head office and they will get back to me by the Monday.

Wednesday came and I have not heard anything so I went in to the shop only be told that the heating element was run without water and that's why it melted (although the water was spraying out of the housing, when it was running).

I was then told that they will not refund and it was a bad installation which was the cause so there is no claim. The manager had no interest in listening to me explain the scenario of what happened. I will definitely not be going back to this store anytime soon
