Inky shop product unreliable and service unprofessional
Hi, I wouldnt have even selected the 1 star, only did it because I wasnt allowed to write a review without it. I purchased inky shop toner cartridge in october 2018, had to return it november that year, the exchanged toner received was again exchanged in december 2018, because of ineffectiveness of the product. Upon taking this home, my print copies were still shaded and not clear. I was so dissappointed and tired of the process that I merely used my printer for copying persoal documents, for other print copies I paid for printed copies at another print outlet. This week my printer wouldnt come on properly saying ink is low. I knew it wasnt as I hardly used it because of the ineffectiveness of the cartridge. I went to the inky shop on Monday the 30th of September 2019. A very professional young man, Steven, attended to me. He called his manager Two Boy Khumalo, who said to tell me I should buy another cartridge and see if the problem persists, I was astounded at this and then he said I should bring my printer to the shop. I did, yesterday, the 3rd of October. Steven very quickly found the solution to incorrect error message on my printer , then proceeded to check if its working by printing a copy of a page. The page was shaded, I said to him thats how its always been. He then tried an old cartridge from the bin of cartridges and this copy was clear. He went to his manger who was at the back of the store, Two Boy, and came back to say, the cartridge is old, therefore the quality of print. I repeated that this was always how the prints were from the cartridges from their store, and I aksed to speak to the manager. He came through, while on a conference call, with his computer, with the owner on line. He repeated that it was old and I hadnt contacted them the whole year. I repeated that I was tired from my last 3 visits exchanging faulty cartridges. He then proceeded to, in an unprofessional manner, speak to the owner on line, referring to me as she is standing in front of me, it was so disrespectful, and the owner supported him , without even considering all the inconvenience caused by the entire process, saying they have helped me before. Their socalled help was exchangimg faulty toner cartridge that I had purchsed from them. They have sign on their walls saying cartridges will be exchanged if it comes back with packaging, no mention of time period. I normally purchase the toner from specialist print shops, and have never had a problem. Two Boy and the owner, Porrit, were unprofessional and their behaviour was not condusive to reliability and integrity and professionalism. I even suggested that he refund my money so that I could purchase the toner from elsewhere where I'd be satisfied with the product, he refused.
