Too good to be true. A ********** company. DO NOT MAKE A BOOKING WITH THESE GUYS.

I am disgusted with the 'service' we have received from Holiday Factory. They blatantly lie on their website about the cost of their Maldives package, and what it includes. We bought the package in December (valid for 6 months), with the hope of using it for the UAE National Day holiday. We then noticed in the small print that these dates were not included. Fair enough. Similarly, the Christmas period was exempt. Any time we wanted to book (always at least 2 months in advance), there were hefty extra charges added. We asked when we could go without having to pay supplements, and the agents could not tell us any dates. Eventually, we decided to book for 4 nights (paying the one extra day) any time between 23rd March and 8th April. We were told that this was also considered "high season" and we had to pay a supplement that exceeded the original cost of 1,500 AED per person. So now, our holiday was above 3,000 AED per person. We paid about 5 times more (per person) than what is listed as the "supplementary fee" in the terms & conditions. We spent a lot of time and money in phone calls to customer service agents that were of no assistance. They simply used the "subject to availability" phrase as an excuse. No reference to the "no extra cost, no hidden cost or fees" that follow it in the Ts & Cs.

When we arrived, we were told that access to the Cinnamon Dhonveli resort would cost $45 per person per day (or $90 per person for all-inclusive), despite the website stating that the package includes "access to all resort facilities". Along with several other couples we met at the hotel who had purchased the package, we were outraged. We raised this issue with our Holiday Factory rep, and he said we were not the first to have questioned this. And yet still today, I am able to take screenshots from the website of this ********** claim that the package includes access to the resort.

I wrote an email to the company, and received an automated response that my query would be dealt with within 24 hours. That was several days ago - I received no response. I hope potential Holiday Factory customers see this post and think twice about booking with them. If the package seems too good to be true, then it undoubtedly is.
