Your tenants are displaying threatening behaviour

Samsung incident :

I have never been so shocked. I took my phone into the The Grove Mall, Pretoria, service centre today because sometimes people cannot hear me. So, there was the sweetest lady helping me. Very funny and kind. They booked the repair with me and I left. A while later I received a call from the technician stating that my phone had water damage. I was very shocked as I really take care of all my things. However, I was said to be untruthful in that statement as it had gotten water. They told me that they were going to charge me thousands + labour + VAT + whatever extras. I asked for a manager, I was constantly told that there was no manager today. However after pressuring the person on the phone he suddenly had the store manager there to take the call. I was then told by this 'store manager' that he had not seen the phone but will go and have a look. However, he stated it was water damage. Although he said he hasn't seen the phone. He also turns out to only be the workshop manager. Misrepresentation! The first person told me that it could have been damaged by just walking into a bathroom after someone had a shower or bath. So for R15'000.00 I get a phone that is of such poor quality that it could damage the entire board and charging point from just walking into a bathroom?? Further, I called the call centre to log a complaint. Later when I spoke to the so-called manager, he just laughed at me because I was upset being called a **** and because I couldn't do anything. Thuli called the owner of the centre (who owns Menlyn shop also) and told him about this situation in the hopes that he can find a resolve. He called me and spoke to me like I was a dog. He said very clearly that my phone could have gotten damage from my sweat or even if I had spat on it. How dare you. He was so threatening that I would feel unsafe to go to that store, let alone that mall as they know who I am now. I feel threatened. They have my phone, I cannot go and get it out of absolute fear. It is disgusting that this is what Samsung has come to and that really they don't have a guarantee on anything as your clients clearly sweat too much or spit on their phones. It is disgusting. How do I fix a problem when I am too fearful to go there? What do I do? The owner was so so aggressive, I just said I cannot expect more from his staff if this is how he speaks to his own clients. I am being pressured into submission by a big corporate Samsung and I cannot do anything. It is a disgrace.
