Woolworths The Grove. Disappointing service
Respect is earned loyalty is gained and most all customers a kept through customer experience. It is unfortunate that I was given atrocious customer experience, not only once but twice in a space of a month at Woolworths The Grove. 1st bad experience was four weeks ago when I was told I couldn’t get my layby because I produce a drivers license but funny because I was allowed to layby with the driver’s license. I was finally assisted after almost an hour going back and forth. And guess what nobody apologized last week on the 3rd of May 2023,I went back to The Grove to exchange my mother’s slippers that she got as a gift.
I have to mention the slippers were bought @ Woolworth The Grove. This lady that assisted me whom I want to mention her name said to me that the slippers are damaged I said impossible these shoes still are new and in a immaculate condition the were purchased on the 1st of April 2023at this store. I ask to speak to the line manager came with the coldest reception and said sorry these shoes we can’t exchange. She said they had a slight damage and off she went. (This lady is a management position and her approach and how she handled the situation, I felt like she had no regard and seemed untrained & extremely unprofessional. By the way this is the same customer experience I experienced 4 weeks ago, No regard of the customer whatsoever. Two days later after I was told that they can’t exchange the slippers. I decided to drive to Woolworths Woodlands to exchange the slipper by the way this is way out of my area but because of my past- experience with Woodlands I decided I would go there. Woolworth Woodlands helped me in under 5 minutes for the exchange. I had a bittersweet moment and very appalled by The Grove management & customer service desk. In all this I would like to thank Woolworths Woodlands for their excellent service all the time thank to a lady I was helped. And everyone @ customer services if there was anything wrong with the shoes after the transaction was done.
So, I now have a question with Woolworth The Grove? Do you give all your employees training. And is your management even trained about customer service? Its sad to say that I would never advise anyone I know to go to Woolworths The Grove and I tell them about other Woolworths instead. They service there is consistently bad don’t expect anything more out of that team.
Regards
