Jawaya Khan, the Angel of Culinarium
I bought a Cloud Nine Ultimate Firm double mattress from Culinarium on online in 16 June 2026. The reason for buying from Culinarium was the best price among all the competitors, and not charging for the delivery. The mattress was delivered super fast three days later. To my my greatest surprise, it came with a base as well, which was included in the original price. All other shops selling the base separately for R2000.00 Unfortunately when I laid down on the mattress, if felt like laying on concrete. I have a very bad degenerative lower back problem and by advise to get a very firm mattress to support my back, I have chosen the Ultimate Firm option online. It was the wrong choice from my side. Having a mattress toper in my position, I placed the toper on the mattress to be able to sleep in the night. Then I contacted Culinarium, which wasn't an easy task, and asked them to please can I swop the mattress for a less firm one. Eventually I got an answer from the manager Mark Bain from Cloud Nine, who was instead of swopping, offered me a mattress toper. I could not accept his offer, as I already had one of those. From this on, it was very difficult to get hold of the right person by phone or *** to make them understand that my request is not just an esthetical one, but a medical circumstance. It was this stage when the Angel of Culinarium has flew in for my help. Jawaya Khan, Sales/Admin personal with a warm human heart and understanding of my medical issue, approached Mark Bain again and had his mind changed. Jawaya called me with the great news that they will not only change my mattress but I can also go to their Wear House and chose which ever mattress I want to have. Further more they delivered my choice of mattress without any charge again. Dear Jawaya, I can not possibly express my appreciation more. My sincere thanks to YOU at Culiinarium and Mark Bain at Cloud Nine to understanding my medical issue and saving my back. We need more people like Jawaya in our society.
