Hidden fine print discover after booking

I booked a holiday for December and it was going to cost me R6500 for 4 days. I then booked it never showed that it does not provide food. when I received the booking confirmation it mentioned that there is no food plan I questioned that because I just thought this was a five star price it would include breakfast, only to be told I can utilise the restaurant available there. I would have not even booked if I knew the was no breakfast I have a child with disability and a single parent.<br> There was no mention of paying 50% of the booking fee if you cancel before booking it only showed that if you cancel in October you ill be charged a fee. So I cancel within days of booking they say I have to pay R3250 this a ******* really. Companies should give us the information before booking. Please
