A game reserve that don't care for animals

My friend booked us a week at Dikhololo in this December holiday. On our first night of arrival during dinner a small cute cat joined us. I was so shock to see a house pet roaming in this game reserve. The cat was so thrilled to get attention that he even started drooling from his mouth. This broke my heart because I knew this cat was not wild but domestic and will not survive here. The next day we went to reception to find out if this cat has a home. To our surprise the receptionist answered in a very rude manor that the cats are a problem and do not see the cats to be a priority. She even referred to me as being a cat lady which I corrected by saying no just an animal *****. She then admitted that there are foxes and even a leopard roaming the area. When I asked what is the resort doing about this because this is clearly not a environment for a cat. She once again said they are not our priority if you want to care for them you can. Just showing they didn't care that these cats might be in danger and they just spoke about them as if they were pests. I am so disgusted by this place attitude against cats. And to add on ceanliness of the living area is clearly also not a priority
