Carefully read the fine print when it comes to The Bed Centre

I bought a doubke bed from The Bed Centre.

Their website clearly states:

FREE DELIVERY when spending above R3000 (within a 100km radius of your nearest store) For orders less than R3000, a R490 delivery fee will be charged (0 – 100km from your nearest store)

I calculated the distance between my house and the store where I bought my bed, and it is clearly within the free delivery threshold, yet I got charged delivery fee of 500. This was questioned with a online sales manager and with the sales person who assisted me in store. I was not happy with the response. All I can say is, carefully scrutinize what the terms and conditions state when it comes to the Bed Centre. I believe that I have been wronged, yet, this company will make you believe otherwise.
