Denied help

Good day it brings me in here on a very heavy and sore heart my puppy (my child) had got sick yesterday early hours of the morning (vomiting and so forth) I took him to the animal anti cruelty for some help today and was denied any treatment for him due to the fact that I did not have enough money on me at the time I got told in not so many words no money no help what is this world we live in , I got told it's because there is less sponsor and no donations that it has to be this way.... I waited almost a hour for the vet to say are you sure you can bring the rest of the cash... after saying yes I was told I'm putting my head on the block... im sorry but for anyone to deny a small 4 month old puppy dieing of dehydration cause of money is disgusting....
