aacl bellville branch .....disgusting!

i took my dog here for an amputation and was unable to give income details because i am currently unemployed . they dont accept that and made me repeat it and my situation numerous times while the entire waiting area could hear my financial difficulties. reception is rude, they shout at you, treat you inhumanely and do not care about the animals injuries until it is clear you can pay. when i went back to collect my dog, i was not allowed to get her back without a cone because i was R60 short due to the doctor telling me it will only cost me R300. a stranger took me to his car and offered me the balance as my dog NEEDED the cone on her head or else the opperation would have been for naught. i was told my dog is no longer welcome there. i was also told that my dog isnt their problem when i leave their premises. i have been going there for many years and always paid my bills on the same day. i am only recently unemployed and now that i havent got R60 i get treated in a disgusting manner. <br> <br> this place should not be allowed to be called ANIMAL ANTI CRUELTY when they deny my dog the best treatment because i am R60 short . they also screamed at my mother.<br> <br> i am so disgusted.
