Useless

A gift card was purchased for me by a family member, However I misplaced it. Went into Markham's The Glen, they advised to come back with the proof of purchase of the card which I then did. Waited in store for over an hour, they told me that they can't retrieve the card number. The TFG contact centre advised that since it was purchased on a Foschini account, I can go to that store & they will be able to assist as able to get the gift card number coz it is on their system. But again, A absolute waste of time. Nothing was done and I was told that there is no way they can retrieve the card number and get my money back for me. It's gone. I know for a fact that at it is possible. But nobody at TFG is willing to go the extra mile and provide an effective & efficient service.
