Unfair Treatment
So last year at the end of January I had major issues which I needed to sort out so I could pay my Markham account for a few months. I was hoping to start paying it end of April but then covid came along and my company took some measures to preserve cash because all of a sudden everyone that could work at home was asked to work at home and just some people were allowed to work normally. Some people took paycuts and some departments cut overtime. We also did not get any raises last year or a bonus. Now I will admit It has taken me a long time to settle my account, but I kept my word and I settled it. I also had other issues to deal with regarding my fiancé, her mom and her two kids. Even though my fiancé's mom does get a pension that does help us things still went difficult for us as they did with most people. Now I finally I'm back on my feet, things are going a lot better and I have been able to settle my account. Now I'm told because the account was handed over (which the lawyers only contact me now......), and that the account is closed and it will remain closed. Yes I admit it did take me along time to settle the account but where is the consideration of circumstances. Where is the consideration that we went through covid. I am not the only one that struggled this past year. How fair is it punishing me for situation that are beyond my control?
