unauthorized debit order on my account

Got an exiting sms stipulating that my account has been approved and that my first debit order will go off yesterday. Thought it was a mistake, as I have had my account for over a year. However lo and behold a debit order attempts to go off my one stagnant account last night. Obviously got returned. However, nowhere did I authorize any debit orders on my account. Very disturbing to say the least. Who authorised this? Definitely no me as the account holder. So then this is *******. So is someone in your accounts department going to be locked up as this is a ******** offence. And who is going to cover the costs of this failed debit order on an account that I am no longer using?<br> <br>
