Unable to close Tfg account

I settled my account on the 3rd of January 2024, the consultant at the cornubia Jet branch said she will call customer service and close the account. Mid January I received a statement reflecting charges of R70 after I was advised it will be closed. I paid the R70 and sent an email to customer care and received no response, not even a confirmation of receipt email, I followed up a week later and still nothing. I will not be liable for any charges added on as I settled and requested for my account to be closed!
