*****ulent documentation

I purchased a cellphone for my child and had taken out an insurance for the device. I unfortunately had to lodge a claim for the device and was told that I didn't take out a policy. I then produced proof of payment toward a policy and was told that the device was for my child hence there was no cover. I informed that that I was never given any policy document and requested a copy of the policy which I apparently signed. I was then sent a screen shot of a policy which was initialed by someone and does not have my signature. I could never reach the agent I last spoke to, all my calls were never returned. I am now considering opening a case of ***** at my local police station.
