TFG-Total sports and RFO disgusting service !!!!

Today around 4pm myself and my husband decide to do last minute xmas shopping..We went to Total sports in wastage mall. As we approached the store we that the store had a promotion where by if u purchase a pair of converse u get a 100rand off any additional item , we then took the converse and a tshirt. Off we went too pay just too get too the til point and the cashier Jasmine the cashier who helped us tells my husband that she need his ID number for the rewards and said no thank you for the rewards ,she then tells him that we'll then u don't qualify for the promotion. What absolute nonsense is that because he refuse to give his ID number known that they will call you for an account or send us spam messages In future . SO NO DISCOUNT SHE SAID !!! My husband proceeded too tell her that on the promotion board that was up in store no where does it state that u need too give ur ID number ... Oh and don't forget the college standing next too her finding this all too funny ..how disgusting for custmor service.. Never the less off we went To RFO to gets some things yet too experience the very same issues about a ID number or else u get no discount on the promotions in the store..!!! Completely disgusted by the service at both stores and please show where does it state that we must give our ID numbers !!!
