TFG Sterns lay buy

I took out a lay buy from Sterns and decided to cancel it. I have been to Sterns Kempton Square three times now and I have been told that they don't have money, on one of the occasions I was told that they only have R400(my refund is R300) but they cannot refund me as my lay buy was worth R700 and they would need to have R700 for them to refund me. I am truly getting frustrated because I am going up and down for R300 and it seems like they will never have it.
