It's really sad how queries are taken for granted when one doesn't complain. Being a loyal account holder for the past 3/4 years of TFG I've never expected such an professional disgusting way of handling queries. I received an e-gift on the 21st of February this year for my birthday which had already past by then, valued R1000. I used the e-gift to purchase some small items at markham The Glen which amounted to R360 on the 2nd of March; of which I had a remaining balance of R640. I tried using the balance online as I had an option whether to buy in store or online, then I got error messages and I had to go back to the store. I've been to Markham The Glen countless times and they don't know what to do, they tried calling customer service and they are apparently told there's nothing they can do because the e-gift reference is invalid and on a R0 balance. Meaning that R640 disappeared on thin air. I then called customer service countless times and they keep referring me to their bank merchant which never seem to exist as none of their numbers go through; all engaged. I've been sending emails to ********** and people responding seem to be as clueless about this as their responses are not giving me any joy, and over that they take more that 2-3 days to get back to me. I tried letting it go, but if I do the next person might be affected by the very same issue and no one will care to assist. I'm really disappointed at TFG about this as it's clear that the staff isn't given proper training to handle issues created by their own systems. I hope this will be thoroughly investigated further as I'll continue being on their nerves till I get some answers regarding my remaining balance of R640.
I'll leave it here for now; please find my money.
