TFG Insurance and their poor service and ******** people.

On The 28th December 2017 my bag was ****** whilst playing soccer. It had my jewelry in the bag. The next day i put through a claim with Northgate Sterns to the group and a lot of things were requested from myself IE: proof of peurchase. Bare in mind this is the item i'm being billed for on a monthly bases a premium for. Bare in mind this item i bought about 6 months ago and they called me asking if they can cover it for loss and theft. This was all done over the phone withing 3-5min. I till this date had not had any further dealings with their insurance people. No policy documents where sent as well to me.

Around the 8th i called to check on the progress of my claim(this is after calling a few times with their lines always cutting or being put on hold and getting cut off). They said they have forwarded their other department for evaluation. Few days later a guy by Zakaria calls me and ask's what happened to my jewelry. Bare in mind this case has also been reported to the police and on my statement that they have. I tell Zak my story and he says fine he will call me back. 18th of Jan i call to check on the status only to be sent from pillar to post after a few calls and Zak says no he has my stuff and is waiting on confirmation and he will get back to me in an Hour he will call me back, No call from him that day. 19th Jan i call at 15:00 only to get an ivr that says they work from Monday to friday 8-16:30 then the phone cuts tried 5 times same result. So clearly that is another lie.

Finally on the 22nd Jan i call again to find a helpful guy by the name of Keenan this after i refuse to hold anymore for Zak who does nothing to help nor get back to me. This is were it gets interesting. It comes to light to me that Zak Declined my claim on the 11th of Jan claiming Negligent to to the fact that no one was assigned to guard our bags. This is now a surprise to me, I was not made aware of such things upon my signing up. Seemingly i'm also made aware that even if it was ****** whilst in my car , my claim would not be payed.

My question is how am i negligent for making sure that i took all the steps to make sure that the watch is safe by all means on the day? Since when should one get a person or a personal member to be my very own guard of my belongings and if not i'm being negligent? If the item went missing still, would the person be liable?

Only now they claiming that they will send the clauses of our contract. No contract was sent to me in the 1st place.

12 days later i'm still waiting for their decline letter which they say is at their underwriters for wording. Service from Zak is appalling to date nothing from him but lies. This I will be taking further.

Still waiting
