TFG down and out
So i have been a client at TFG group for approximately 15 years. When COVID hit i had a thing with my old bank, so i decided to move to a different bank. The bank made all the necessary transfer to debit orders from old bank to new bank. Never was i notified by TFG that it was unsuccessful, a cpuple of months went by and so i decided to go in to the store to purchase a new pair of shoes. To my surprise i had fallen behind on the account due to my debit order that wasn't moved, so i made arrangements to settle the arrears where i then had to fill in a new change of personal details and banking details etc. I had well over R12k credit with TFG, so this morning i was due to treat myself to a new pair of shoes, so i made my monthly installment and by the way i pay 75% more every mont on this account than necessary. Nevertheless once payment made on the receipt i found that my credit was reduced to R1000.00, now lets face it! What can you buy at TFG with this little credit? I spoke to one of the managers at their head office, where i was told i can only re aply in two months, yet i was not the one at fault. If their admin people were more capable of doing their jobs properly none of this would have happened. Now im the one looking like a non payer, when idirectly they have an *********** bunch of people working in their admin department. In my 15 years I've never had any problem with TFG, now im being treated like i have the plague.... this is totaly and utterly disgusting behavior on their part. And my honest opinion in this situation is that they truly re think their training when coming to their admin people, and most definitely making sure their management is up to par.
Best regards,
