Shocking Service at @Home Secunda!
On 27 December 2017,
i visited the @Home store in Secunda, i asked the lady at the Till (Sipiwe) to check how much credit i have available. She seems to be in a daze or high on something She says i have 0 credit.
I say to her but there must be, more than R 10 000 credit, She says, "LOOK AT THE SCREEN, THERE IS NOTHING!!" And all the other customers are listening.
I ask her for the number for customer service to see whats going on here, she throws a book on the table in front of me, and points at a number written in the book.
While im taking down the number, she rips the book away and goes with it to their phone.
At this point i am furious, the whole store is filled with festive shoppers and 1 furious shopper. i ask for the book back, get the number and get the call through on my cell phone, the lady on the phone asks to speak to Sipiwe at the Till,
Sipiwe says on the phone, my phone, while looking at me and all the customers can hear it,
" This guy is angry" , i said " Hello, im standing right here" The conversation then switched to Zulu.
She asked for my ID, and i gave her my drivers licence. Verification was clear. I then got the phone back and had to do a security check, i answered all the questions accurately, and then she asked to speak to Sipiwe again, at this point, other customers are getting involved in the ordeal.
Sipiwe says she cant take the phone now she is busy wrapping presents. After 10mins, Another lady at the till takes the call, and says that i failed the security check?
That was the most embarrassing experience i have had to endure inside a store.
I thought this was a premium store. What is going on here...
