21 Jan 2026, 09:29I would like to log a formal complaint regarding a very concerning experience my wife and I have had with TFG / Bash, involving possible misuse of personal information and extremely poor customer service.
After my wife made three Bash purchases, she received an e-voucher from TFG. Approximately two months later, when she attempted to redeem this voucher in-store, she was told that it had already been used. We can state with absolute cer*****y that she did not use this voucher.
We were initially told that the issue would be investigated and resolved, but after more than a week we received no feedback or response. When we returned to the store to follow up, we were then told that the voucher had been used at a different TFG store — one where my wife has never made any Bash purchases.
What makes this situation extremely worrying is that, in order to redeem the voucher, an ID number is required. This raises serious concerns about how the voucher was redeemed and whether my wife’s personal information (including her ID number) may have been used *****ulently or accessed by someone else.
We have logged a complaint and spoken to several staff members, but we have received different and often conflicting explanations, and no one has been able to give us a clear, straight answer. We have also tried multiple times to speak to the managers, but they are always “out of office”.
I want to be very clear: this complaint is not primarily about the money or the voucher itself. It is about:
• The possible misuse or leak of my wife’s personal information
• The lack of transparency and accountability from TFG
• The poor handling of a very serious matter
• The complete lack of proper feedback or resolution
We are extremely concerned about the safety of my wife’s personal data and how easily this voucher was apparently used by someone else.
I am requesting that this matter be taken seriously and investigated properly, and that TFG provide clear answers on:
1. How and where the voucher was used
2. What information was used to redeem it
3. How my wife’s personal information is being protected
4. Why this matter has been handled so poorly
I hope HelloPeter can assist in escalating this matter, as we are getting nowhere through the company directly.
