Secretly sell our debt and hinder our lives

As a young single female I fell on hard times after having my daughter. I lost my job and was unable to pay my 2 accounts. Tfg did not contact me, but suddenly im receiving emails from mbd!!! You sell our debt without notifying us? I've been told my account is no longer with TFG, Yet i can still view my amount due and balance on the app and website and thats what I've been doing all along. That is so misleading. You trick us into thinking we are still safe and the account is with you meantime you have already sold our debt, and we end up owing these debt collectors. The person from customer services said he can't view my statements because the account is no longer with tfg. So why can i still see my statements? Surely there are procedures to be followed. I have downloaded a pdf of my statements from the tfg website, i screengrabbed from the app and i have the MBD letters as well. I will definitely be reporting this to the nca and credit ombud. I want to pay these accounts off and i can't because i have to deal with MBD who will take forever to clear my name. You provide us with statements on the app and online while having secretly sold our debt. THATS AGAINST THE LAW. I will post on every single social media platform, i will go to the papers. Im outraged! Im a young woman who is just getting her life back together and TFG has gone behind my back and hindered that. I know for a fact that if my account is handed over i shouldnt be able to view statements. I thought i had time and that's the most underhanded thing a big retail company can do. I will take this to court if i have to.
